Pollentia Mar
Mallorca is so sought after because of its climate, coves, picturesque landscape,
cuisine, cosy little villages and marinas and its lush environment, not to mention
its great variety of leisure and sports facilities. Add this to its excellent
infrastructure and air links and....it really is heaven on earth, whether as a getaway
from it all haven or as a permanant residence.
In the northern most part of the island, the Tramuntana mountain range seeps down
to the Formentor peninsula and the watch tower of Alcudia, creating a natural border
with beautiful Pollenca Bay.
Here the harsh features of the rocky mountains turn into a calming and fertile valley.
Pollenca Port is a tourist resort open to the sea and is known for its walkways,
street cafes and lively atmosphere. Yet it still has landscapes practically
untouched by human hand.
By its side lies Alcudia which boasts a really pleasant historical town centre as
well as stately homes, remarkable city walls, not to mention the Roman ruins at
Pollenca.
In addition to this another "must see" is the nature reserve of S'Albufera the largest
on the Balearic Islands, which is of special interest because of the more than 200
species of bird that live there.

Pollentia Mar is located in Port de Pollenca, a town with good communication
links thanks to the new Palma-Inca motorway. The capital of Mallorca; Palma is just
35 minutes away by car and the airport is just 45 minutes away with easy access
via a dual carriageway.
The north of the island also boasts several golf courses, the nearest being Golf
Pollenca and Alcanada Golf in Alcudia. There are plenty of other opportunities to
keep active here too with surf and diving schools and endless kilometres of cycle
paths.
The Pollentia Mar apartments are to be found right in the centre
of Pollenca Port, situated opposite a square and very near to the beach and fishing
port.
